Community Alert - Vehicle Break Ins
Community Alert
During the week of June 23rd 2008, Yeadon Police Department responded to several incidents of vehicle break ins. There were two incidents reported in the common driveway of the 700 and 800 Block of West Cobbs Creek Parkway. A third incident was reported in the 900 block of Church Lane. The suspect(s) are gaining entrance by breaking a side window and stealing items from the interior of the vehicle. In some cases, they are removing GPS devices or the vehicle radio or CD system. The incidents have occured between late evening and early morning hours.
Safety Tips - Please attempt to park your vehicle in a well illuminated area or have motion senor lights in the rear of your driveway to help prevent a theft. Please call 911 if you see or hear anything suspicious.
Police have increased patrols throughout the community.
